This one-pan dish is easy to make and is full of flavour. It’s sure to become part of your regular dinner rotation. Serves 2-4 |
INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup maple syrup or raw honey
- 1/4 pkg Chef Laura’s Hot Chicks spice blend
- ⅓ cup mustard of your choice (try grainy, dijon, or stone ground mustard)
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp grapeseed oil (or any mildly flavoured oil)
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Garnish:
Italian parsley, chopped
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, combine the Hot Chicks spice blend, maple syrup or raw honey (depending which you’re using), mustard, apple cider vinegar and stir well.
- Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts and submerge into the marinade.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight.
- Once the chicken has marinated, heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a skillet.
- Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook flipping occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and golden brown on all sides, about 4-6 minutes per side.
- Garnish with chopped Italian parsley, if desired.
